The challenge

Following extensive research, it became apparent that the Council needed to modernise their image and project an identity that was more relevant, and better understood by their audience. There was also little brand consistency across the organisation’s communications.

The solution

As the relevance of the Lion in their logo was poorly understood, we created a new execution that showed the Lion in context. It originates from the chalk carving on the side of the Dunstable Downs. Through the brand guidelines we created, we have achieved a flexible, yet consistent brand image that is easy to implement across diverse requirements, including literature, advertising, vehicle livery and signage.
